Aluminium refining agent, covering agent, slagging agent, slag cleaning agent produced by AdTech are mainly used in the process of aluminum alloy smelting. The deslagging flux and the slag remover should be the same thing. When the temperature of the aluminum alloy reaches about 720 degrees, add the aluminium refining agent, press to the bottom with a tool and move slowly until no bubbling, mainly used to remove the hydrogen in the aluminum liquid. After refining, add slagging agent, stir thoroughly with tools and remove the slag, which is mainly used to remove impurities in the molten aluminum. After cleaning the slag, sprinkle a covering agent on the surface to prevent hydrogen in the air from entering the aluminum liquid.
While the aluminium refining slag contains a certain amount of aluminum oxide, it also contains a certain amount of metallic aluminum, and its content directly affects the refining effect and quality. The aluminum content in the refining slag is generally determined by the strong alkali fusion method to dissolve the sample, and the EDTA titration method is used to determine the aluminum content. However, this method detects the total aluminum in the sample, including metallic aluminum and aluminum oxide. Metal aluminum can be directly dissolved in acid, while aluminum oxide does not dissolve. However, the completeness of its dissolution is affected by the type of acid and the concentration of the acid, and it is not stable enough. The data shows that the determination of metallic aluminum in mold slag, flux and other heating materials can use alkali-dissolved hydrogen generation method to make the metallic aluminum in the sample react with sodium hydroxide solution to release hydrogen, and the amount of hydrogen released can be calculated by measuring the amount of hydrogen released.
Characteristics of Aluminium Refining Agent
The refining agent is a white powder or granular flux. It is prepared by mixing a variety of inorganic salts after drying treatment in a certain proportion.
The refining agent is mainly used to remove the hydrogen and floating oxidized slag in the aluminum liquid, so that the aluminum liquid is more pure, and also has the function of a slag cleaning agent.
Part of the components in the refining agent are easily decomposed at high temperatures, and the generated gas is prone to hydrogen reaction, and has a strong adsorption force with slag inclusions, and quickly escapes from the melt. Other components have the effect of slag cleaning agent.
It is suitable for common grades of aluminum alloy (alloys with high magnesium content and aluminum-magnesium alloys cannot be used), and when smelting pure aluminum, degassing refining and slag removal.
