Aluminum slag remover uses a rotor to blow inert gas (argon or nitrogen) into molten aluminum, decompose it into a large number of dispersed bubbles and disperse them in molten aluminum.
The bubbles in the melt absorb the hydrogen in the melt and adsorb the oxide slag by the principle of gas partial pressure difference and surface adsorption, and take away from the surface of the melt with the rising of the bubbles, thus the melt can be purified.
Because the bubbles are small and dispersed, they are uniformly mixed with the rotating molten liquid, then rotate and rise slowly in a spiral shape.
When contacting with the melt, the gas flow generated by continuous linear rise will not be formed, which significantly improves the purification effect. Both argon and nitrogen can be used to degass molten aluminum. The purity of inert gas must be higher than 99.95%. It is suitable for purifying molten aluminum in crucible furnace, pool furnace, reverberatory furnace, ladle and static box. The aluminum degasser needs to work on the cover plate, and the graphite rotor should extend to the center of the crucible mouth to work.
Efficiency of Aluminum Slag Remover
The rotating rotor decomposes nitrogen (or argon) in molten aluminum into a large number of dispersed bubbles, which are dispersed in the molten metal.
The bubbles in the melt absorb the hydrogen in the melt and adsorb the oxide slag by the principle of gas partial pressure difference and surface adsorption, and take away from the surface of the melt with the rising of the bubbles, thus the melt can be purified.
Because the bubbles are small and dispersed, they are evenly mixed with the rotating molten liquid, and then they rotate in a spiral shape to float slowly. When in contact with the molten liquid, the gas flow generated by continuous linear rise will not be formed, so the purification effect is significantly improved.
Both argon and nitrogen can be used as inert gases to degass molten aluminum. The purity of inert gas must be higher than 99.95%.
