Modification of cutting surface of foam cutting machine
With the increasing demand from domestic and foreign customers for our company’s ceramic filter plate products, the current cutting accuracy of the filter board foam body cannot meet customer needs (the original cutting diameter accuracy of the porous ceramic filter was+1mm, -2mm, and the current accuracy has been increased to ± 1mm). To improve product quality, our equipment department personnel have repeatedly discussed and researched, and demonstrated data, and have modified the overall cutting surface of the foam-cutting machine. The overall cutting surface of the original foam cutting machine is designed with a smooth surface, Every time an employee changes the size of the cutting foam, they need to use a meter ruler to re-measure the position. This cannot guarantee accuracy and is labor-intensive, which can also cause multiple foam sizes to be unqualified, resulting in the generation of defective products, as shown in the following figure:
After multiple communications and data validation experiments among various professions, the sliding mode of the cutting surface of the foam body has been transformed from the original bearing sliding to the sliding slide sliding, reducing shaking and improving sliding accuracy. Additionally, various bubble sizes that need to be cut have been added to the cutting plate surface. When adjusting the size of the filter plate that needs to be cut, employees only adjust the active side of the cutting edge saw and directly adjust the saw blade to the corresponding size groove, There is no need for employees to measure the spacing between edge cutting knives, genuinely achieving the implementation of “it’s easier for employees to make mistakes than to do right” and genuinely implementing anti fooling measures.
