Working Principle
An on-line degassing unit outside the furnace is placed between the stationary furnace and the casting machine. In the degassing box, the nitrogen blown into the aluminum melt is chopped by the rotating graphite rotor to form a large number of dispersed bubbles, so that the aluminum liquid and the inert gas are fully contacted in the furnace. Bubbles use the partial pressure difference and surface absorption principle in the melt to absorb hydrogen in the melt. And adsorption of oxidized slag. The hydrogen present in the molten aluminum is diffused into the inert gas bubbles whose hydrogen partial pressure is zero. And as the bubbles rise, they are taken out of the melt surface and escape. The solid oxide slag suspended in the aluminum liquid will also be adsorbed on the surface of the bubbles. They are removed together to achieve the purpose of purifying the aluminum melt.
