Non-metallic inclusions and gas in the melt (mainly H2) are the key factors that affect the casting process and ingot quality. Aluminum alloy has a serious tendency to oxidize and get gas, and it is in direct contact with furnace gas or the outside atmosphere during the smelting process. In smelting and transfer of molten aluminum, gas and inclusions will be generated in the melt due to gas absorption and oxidation, which will reduce the cleanliness of molten aluminum. Inclusions and gases in the metal have a significant impact on the strength, fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, and stress corrosion cracking performance of aluminum alloy profiles. Effectively controlling the oxidized inclusions in the melt has become a common goal pursued by metallurgy, casting and material processing.
Purification of aluminium adopts smelting furnace nitrogen powder injection refining, online degassing unit, and CFF filtration system. AdTech dual-rotor degassing device has high efficiency in removing gases, inclusions and certain harmful elements in the aluminum melt, and can achieve a satisfactory hydrogen removal effect and ensure the internal quality of the ingot. The filtration system adopts single-layer and two-stage filtration according to the throughput of molten aluminum per unit quantity of the casting platform. The ceramic foam filter is surrounded by a sealing lining, which acts on the contact place of the filter plate and the filter box, so as to prevent the aluminum liquid from leaking through the contact place.
